HME Europe comprises the production areas brass and copper tubes with subsidiaries in Germany, France, Italy and Spain. Since April 2019 HME is part of the Hailiang Co. Ltd. Hailiang is one of the world leaders in the market for copper, copper alloy tubes and semi-finished brass products.
For our long-standing production base (former KME Brass Germany GmbH) and new Headquarter Berlin, the HME Europe is looking for an
IT application support engineer (m/w/d)
Your responsibilities:
- Take ownership for the resolution of incidents, problems and service requests, including categorization and escalation to the appropriate global teams
- Work closely together with global virtual support teams to deliver 1st, 2nd and 3rd level support to European countries
- Support our business stakeholders and respective project teams in delivering solutions for the manufacturing area
- Work closely together with global functional teams to participate in SAP-related system implementations within the European region
- Provide continuous training and technical support for business key users
Your background:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Information Technology fields
- At least 2 years related working experience
- Knowledge of manufacture processes
- Knowledge of SAP modules and other peripheral systems will be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- English fluent as working language is a must, capability in German, French or Italian will be a plus
