Seems that Mountain Lion (OSX 10.8) has upgraded to OpenCL 1.2. Is there a workaround to get JOCL working on ML or is there any plans to generally support OpenCL 1.2?

Yes, the AMD Stream SDK also contains a preview for OpenCL 1.2. I’m currently upgrading JOCL accordingly. There has been a considerable internal refactoring (also in order to prevent future compatibility issues when a newer OpenCL implementation is available than that JOCL was compiled for).
Actually, the upgrade is done, but I did not yet have the chance to compile it for MacOS or 64bit architectures, so this still has to be verified. I’ll try to upload the source soon as a “beta” version, hopefully there will be contributors for the Linux64 and MacOS binaries.
