Just wanted to inform anyone who is not aware that the NVIDIA latest drivers has official support to OpenCL 1.1. It came as an email alert 2 days ago.
I’m not really happy on the way they are handling OpenCL. :mad:
I have not tested it with JOCL since my internet connection is low & therefore I can’t download the latest drivers yet, but lets hope the latest drivers to opencl 1.1 have little or no bugs.
I don’t know if Marco has tested it.

Thanks for this info. I’ll try them out during the next week, and see whether JOCL works with these drivers, or build an update if necessary.
I’m also not so happy with NVIDIAs OpenCL support. The 1.1 drivers had been announced more than one year ago. I think they will focus on CUDA as long as possible. And in fact: My next cards would probably be from AMD, if I did not need CUDA for JCuda. Fortunately, I can at least test the features of new OpenCL versions with AMDs CPU OpenCL implementation.
