YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Bayer Business Services is the global competence center for IT and Business Services of the Bayer Group and supports the business processes of Bayer with high-performance services and innovative solutions – anywhere and anytime. The focus here is on the core areas IT Infrastructure & Applications, Procurement and Trade Services, Personnel Services, Finance and Accounting as well as Management Consulting. In your new position as SAP Application Manager (m/f) your tasks will include the following:
• Responsible for the establishment of processes and applications in the field of logistics accounting value flows in alignment with prevailing implementation standards, compliance regulations as well as relevant QM regulations
• Responsible for system integrity and stability of the relevant processes and applications as well as for the development and improvement of services
• Intensive cooperation with service managers and further relevant group of persons (E2E Delivery)
• Ensure efficient cooperation in emergency cases
• Management of incidents, problems and services on demand, especially for planning, implementing and an error-free transfer to the application support
• Coordination and resolution of escalations for the entire process and adoption of temporary special tasks on a global level
• Functional leadership of a virtual team, including responsibility for resource and task distribution
WHO YOU ARE
• University degree in business information, informatics or an equivalent education
• Several years of experience in IT services (development, implementation, operation) and in dealing with the operation of ERP systems
• Good knowledge of the business processes and their implementation in the SAP systems in the area of finance and accounting, as well as logistics (SD, MM)
• Experience at the interface between logistics and accounting are a plus
• Structured and methodical problem solution behaviour as well as good assertiveness
• Organizational skills, ability to work in complex and global environments and excellent analytical and conceptual skills
• Enjoy to work on demanding challenges
• Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written
